Jim Tait (c. 1935 – May 20, 2011[1]) was an American football player, coach, and college athletics administrator. He was the 28th head college football coach for the University of Richmond Spiders located in Richmond, Virginia and he held that position for six seasons, from 1974 until 1979. His career coaching record at Richmond was 21 wins, 44 losses, and 0 ties.
